Becoming a mother has been one of the most significant spiritual experiences in my life. When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I started exploring guided meditation and self-hypnosis to prepare mentally and physically for the birth experience. With a supportive team consisting of my enthusiastic (and very open-minded!) husband and an amazing midwife, I had a peaceful, joyful birth experience. I was filled with awe at the power of my body but more than that, I realized that birth was a spiritual experience unlike I had ever experienced previously.

Fast forward many years later and I am the mother of three children – each birthed with the HypnoBirthing techniques. Just like each child, each birth was very unique and different, but each time, self-hypnosis and deep relaxation were incredibly useful tools. And those tools have since proved useful to me as a parent! Time in meditation is never wasted.

I am certified in transpersonal hypnotherapy and in HypnoBirthing – the Mongan Method. I look forward to helping expectant mothers find their own power and strength through HypnoBirthing classes and I offer both private and group instruction. Every birth experience and every family is unique and I honor that in all of my classes.

I also offer transpersonal hypnotherapy sessions for those seeking wellness by developing a deeper mind-body-spirit connection. Hypnosis can be useful as you deal with anxiety and stress, seek to lose weight, attempt to stop smoking, deal with phobias and more.

And finally, I am a trained psychic medium and truly believe that God gives our spirit guides and deceased loved ones the ability to connect with us when we most need it to share valuable lessons and love with us. Having conducted readings over the last several years with a variety of people, for a variety of reasons, I can honestly tell you that each and every reading ultimately was a message of love for the person being read. I am merely the tool for these messages to come through and I am humbled to witness the power of love that our guides and loved ones on the other side have for us.

In the end, I am seeker – looking for meaning in the everyday-ness of life and trying to find my own mind-body-and-spirit wellness. I think it’s a never-ending journey but I am grateful for this strange and wonderful journey that is uniquely mine. I welcome the chance to work with you on your own journey.

Blessings,

Karen
